SHADOW ALLEY

I always said "No fan art for me! Nope, not me." 'Cause, as an artist, I feel I need to expell MY own stories, bring the shitty stuff out of my head. Not that I've been doing it enough lately. In fact, I had a kind of blockage. Too much shit trying to get out at the same time, I guess. Imagine what it must look like inside my head right now. Or smell like. Ugh.

When I'm not at work, doing stuff on my computer, or drawing - I'm reading. Reading is a big get-away for me. Some people play video games, get consumed, immersed.. drowned in them. Some do shopping. I don't have enough money for latter, have absolutely no patience for former, so I do the same with books. It's not any better. Yeah, sure, my english is getting better (not better enough, apparently), but other than that, I loose a lot of time doing nothing, while I should be doing something (like designing all that awaits me, drawing commissions etc.). Then I thought... why not using all that stuff I read as an inspiration? Better than nothing! And here it is, my first fan art!
I'm into PNR, Urban Fantasy and similar. I like them dark, very dark.

Lovely Jessica (faestock) is MacKayla Lane, main heroine from Karen Marie Moning's "Fever" series. Convenient, really, it's a UF series about - Fae. As the best series I've read yet, it deserves to be inspiration for my first fan art.
